These are exciting times at Public-i. We’re developing rapidly as a company – growing into new sectors, bolstering our current suite of services and products and, most significantly, growing. Now rather quickly.
Outwardly, the most obvious sign of that growth is recruitment – and it’s time now for us to start shouting about it. So… We’re very pleased to announce that a number of new posts are being advertised right now. We’re looking for a new designer, an administrative assistant and a technical support officer. In addition to these advertised roles, we’re also delighted that in the near future we hope to announce the appointment of a programme director, a new position that will help us to attract and operate more of the large engagement projects we’re working on – leaving Catherine, our chief executive, with more time to run the company.
All this action is, of course, part of a wider attempt to strengthen Public-i so that we can not only retain our position as the leading provider of webcasting to local government in the UK, but continue our development the experts in digital engagement to the public sector.
Jane Purcell, our HR manager, is in charge of administering these new roles and has provided job descriptions for each role. Click here to find out more about each job.
Designer
We are looking to strengthen our design team with an experienced UI designer. You’ll be working in a team with another designer to design and develop new features for a large web application around video streaming, social networking tools and data visualisation.
Administrative Assistant
The Administrative Assistant will assist the Finance and Administrative team and, on occasion, other teams within the company with a wide range of general finance and administrative tasks.
Technical Support Officer
Due to an expanding workload we are looking to recruit a Technical Support Assistant to help our Customer Delivery team provide excellent customer support to our clients. This role would be ideal for an individual who is currently either in a first appointment or a college leaver looking for a suitable first role.
