I’m a bit late on this, but it’s really time that we talked about the next user group – on the 6th of December.
As is now customary it will be held at the Hallam Conference Centre on 6th December 2013 and you can find details of directions and nearby stations here.
I mentioned in the last post I wrote that we may well talk about the fact the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government will be using law to force councils to allow citizens to film in meetings – but the scheduled running order is as follows:-
- From 10.00 am coffee and pastries will be available
- From 10.30am: the morning session will include a group discussion and helpdesk advice along with future product development and the opportunity for you to add your thoughts and ideas to the development roadmap. We will also be demonstrating the new R700 and discussing the planned release for Webcast Admin (CMS) and where this is up to, along with what training we will be providing. We will also hopefully be going over some new and updated case studies
- 1pm Lunch
- From 2pm until 4.30pm: the discussion will be centred around ‘How Networked Councillor relates to Webcasting?’ – this will also look at how Connect and Connect Social can be utilised as part of this.
- 4.30pm pre-Christmas drinks!
