User Group review (part two): Improving your User Group experience

By July 22, 2014One Comment

After gathering in London for the User Group in June and hearing what you have to say about our products and services, it’s now a great time to look ahead at what we can do to make the next User Group even better.

Last month we asked you how we could improve your User Group experience. We have since been coming up with new ideas to take into consideration in putting together the next User Group in December. The next group could either be on the 4th, 11th or 18th of December. We’ll be posting a survey in the coming months so everyone can vote on which date they prefer.

We know that traveling to London can be a bit of a stretch to get to for some people – especially those of you further north! As you know, we do have plans in the near future to open a northern office. When this happens, we are hoping to coincide the opening with a User Group for those of you who can’t make it down south. We will be having a little celebration of course!

As for the location of the next User Group – it’s still up for debate, but we’re open to suggestions and will reveal it at some point this autumn.

We are also planning on revamping our Talk website to make it a little more interesting, while also adding some new interactive features. We have been soaking up some inspiration on how to make it easier and more enjoyable to use, so keep your eyes peeled – there are changes ahead!

As for the actual User Group – we are looking at the format of the day and possible tweaks we can make, such as adding breakout sessions. We would also love to get a little more hands on with some demonstrations and workshops. If there’s anything in particular you are curious about in terms of the software or equipment, this will be the perfect time to get one of our technical staff to show you.

If you have any suggestions we’d love to hear from you. Please comment below or send an email to helpdesk@public-i.info.
